Squad Training

Where?

Our squads are based in the Southern Tablelands of NSW.

Term 4 Training

All training will be held at Hudson Park in Goulburn from 5-6pm.

Due to Covid-19 guidelines, you will need to book in ahead of time by Sunday 7pm of each week.

Who can join?

Squad training is suited from ages 10yrs+

However, we do often have 8yrs join in if they are particularly keen and show an interest in developing their skills, technique, speed and endurance.

Our sessions cater for all levels of fitness and ability.

We are family friendly and encourage everyone to get out and active!

Sometimes the younger siblings join in for a bit of running fun!

Times may be subject to change depending on weather.

Cost?

  • 1 athlete – $10 pp.
  • 2 athletes in same family – $20 per family.
  • 3 athletes in same family – $25 per family.
  • 4 athletes in same family – $30 per family.

What does a typical session look like?

For the general health, safety and well being of the participants, sessions follow a general order as outlined below.

The main body of work however, will be modified to suit the requirements of the individuals involved.

  • Warm up
  • Stretching
  • Drills
  • MAIN BODY OF WORKLOAD
  • Warm down
  • Stretching

The workload component will vary between speed, strength and endurance from session to session.

Technique and running skills are adressed as needed.

Children under the age of 12 must have a supervising adult remain at the grounds.

Please wear comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear and bring a water bottle and a towel or mat for stretching on.

Online support for Squad Runners who commit to a minimum of 1 day per week is also available at a reduced rate.

Those Squad members who attend 2 sessions a week have free online access.
